Cassie Meinholz - Middle School and High School Math
Introduction
I'm Cassie Meinholz, and I teach 7th grade math and personal finance at Wisconsin Heights Middle and High School!
I have been a Vanguard since 1990 when I attended kindergarten at Black Earth Elementary. I graduated from Wisconsin Heights in 2003 with my husband Kevin, who I met on the first day of 6th grade. My heart has been set on becoming a teacher since falling in love with teaching and learning in Mrs. Gullickson’s classroom. Since graduating from WH, I earned my Bachelor and Masters from UW-Eau Claire, taught math for in Arcadia and Fall Creek, got married, became a mom to Hudson (9) and Rowan (7), built two houses, wrote a book about teaching and learning math, and raised and released over 300 Monarch butterflies!
As I start my 16th year of teaching, I am so thrilled to be at Heights as a teacher! It is where I fell in love with teaching, math, and my husband. I am who I am because of Wisconsin Heights – a teacher, wife, and mom. I'm excited to give back to the district and community that gave so much to me, and I am so proud that my sons get to be Vanguards like my husband and I. There is no place like home! Roll Vanguards!
