A Little Bit About Mrs. Gullickson....

Hello! I am Cora Gullickson.  I am currently a 3rd grade teacher at Wisconsin Heights Elementary School.  I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in coaching.  I started my teaching career at Wisconsin Heights in 1994.  I have been teaching since 1990 and have taught kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. 

I believe strongly in the sense of community.  I want my students to think creatively, solve problems respectfully, and feel valued at school.  I encourage students to listen to each other and to practice empathy.  We make mistakes, but recognize that the path towards success is messy.  Above all, to recognize that greatness never needs an audience. 

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters and our beloved golden retriever at our home in Mazomanie.  I adore warm temperatures and love to be outside boating, kayaking, planting flowers, or simply relaxing with a good book.
