Mackenzie Deese
Introduction
I grew up in Madison, WI and graduated from Madison East High School. I received my Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Communications and English from The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. After working for the Materials Science and Engineering Department at UW Madison for five years, I decided to go back to school and get a teaching certification from Edgewood College. I taught various English courses at Janesville Parker High School for five years before coming to Heights. This is my forth year at Wisconsin Heights teaching 8th grade Language Arts and 10th grade Contemporary Literature.

My Classroom
In my classroom you will see an environment that fosters discussion and critical thinking. I try to make class engaging, fun, and relevant to students' lives. My classroom is a welcoming place for students to learn and grow into the young adults that they are becoming.
