Introduction

Hello, my name is Eliza Gullickson. I am from Mazomanie, WI and am a Wisconsin Heights alum. I graduated in 2019 and went off to UW-Oshkosh to get my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I was lucky enough to do a student teaching internship for the 2nd grade team at Heights during the 2023 spring semester and am so happy to be back full time! Not only was I an intern at the elementary school, I have assisted classes during the summer school program for the past 3 years. 

I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and going on walks with my family's 2 golden retrievers, Gus and Louie.

My Classroom

In second grade, we have direct instruction mixed with independent group work. Our classroom is driven by student ambition and we come together to make an enthusiastic learning environment.

Teaching Style

I believe in creating a loving, positive classroom for my students. I gauge my lessons on student ability and 2nd grade curriculum standards. Staff and student collaboration is very important to the work process.
