Students should be prompt when arriving at the bus stop.  The driver should not be expected to wait for the students. Students riding the bus, except as otherwise required, shall not be required to be met at the bus stop and shall be responsible for walking from the bus stop to their final destination.

In the interest of the safety of the District’s youngest riders, the Wisconsin Heights School District recommends that the parent/guardian of preschool and kindergarten students, or another responsible adult designated by the parent/guardian, to be present to receive the student at the school bus stop.  The District shall notify parents/guardians of preschool and kindergarten students of this recommendation prior to the start of the school year.

Any arrival/dismissal change bus requests should be sent to your child’s school for approval.
