Welcome From The District Administrator

On behalf of the board of education, administration, and staff, I want to welcome you to the Wisconsin Heights School District. We are a growing community that serves over 776 students ranging from four-year old kindergarten through high school. Our students are incredible humans whose talents shine every year in the classroom, on the stage, and in the vast arena of co-curricular opportunities.

At Wisconsin Heights, our vision is clear: to develop engaged citizens through diverse experiences and rigorous academic expectations. This vision drives every facet of our mission, which centers on several key principles:

1.     Utilizing best instructional practices to support rigorous academic standards: We believe in equipping our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in an increasingly complex world. By employing the most effective teaching methods, we ensure that each student reaches their fullest potential. Students in our district continually achieve higher percentages on our Department of Public-School Report Card than the State average.

2.     Data-driven decision-making process: Education is not just about teaching; it's about understanding the needs and progress of every student. We use data to inform our decisions, ensuring that our strategies are targeted and effective in meeting the diverse needs of our student body.

3.     Engagement with families and the community: Collaboration is at the heart of our success. We recognize the vital role that families and the community play in a student's educational journey. By fostering strong partnerships, we create a supportive environment where every student can thrive.

4.     Fostering positive relationships: Central to our mission is the belief that positive relationships are foundational to a successful learning experience. We prioritize creating a respectful, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Together, with dedicated educators, supportive families, and an engaged community, we will continue to uphold these principles and inspire a passion for lifelong learning among our students.

I hope you find the Wisconsin Heights area to be a great place to live, attend school, and raise a family. I look forward to working alongside each of you as we strive for excellence and prepare our students to become active, responsible citizens of tomorrow.

Proud to be a Vanguard,

Michelle McGrath, Ed. D
