On February 21st, these students represented Wisconsin Heights High School at the Visual Arts Classic Regional competition at UW-Platteville: All students got at least one 1st place award and the team WON 1ST PLACE FOR BOTH THE QUIZ BOWL AND THE CRITICAL THINKING aspects of the competition against 10 other schools in southwest Wisconsin.

Thursday, February 27 - Come on out and enjoy the #VanguardPride boys basketball game against New Glarus. JV tip off is at 6:00 pm and Varsity at 7:30 pm. Admission is free!
While you're there, stop by and see District Administrator, Michelle McGrath, and some board members. They will be at the MS entrance from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with some renderings of options for securing and improving the front entrance. Take a look and ask questions. We'd love to hear your feedback!

Vanguard Girls Basketball Fans,
On Tuesday 2/25, we will be hosting Ozaukee in the first round of Regionals! The game will start at 7:00 pm; Varsity only.
A few things to note: cash only, no passes allowed including season passes, and staff/student passes. The game will not be streaming on Hudl.

Students in 6th Grade Science examined rock samples during a lab. They used a magnifying lens to determine color, texture, and provide a description of their 4 samples.

7th grade Math participated in a math auction to review percentages. Students were given an auction catalog of percent problems with answers (some correct and some wrong) and $1000. The goal of the game was to purchase as many percent problems with correct solutions as possible for as little money as possible.
