Last week the Kindness Matters summer school class ended with paying kindness forward. They made Hershey Kiss flowers with positive messages written on the leaves. Students were encouraged to give their flowers away as a random act of kindness to whoever they would like. To spread kindness forward a little farther each student made one or more flowers for the residents at Heartland Country Village in Black Earth.

Our community libraries at Black Earth, Mazomanie, and Wisconsin Heights School District are sponsoring a book walk this summer featuring "Our Planet! There's No Place Like Earth" by Stacy McNulty. This colorful story addresses the health of our Planet, and it could be a great way to share your love of the outdoors with your family! #VanguardPride
